What is the difference between Standard, B Grade and C Grade Pins?
(also applies for jewelry)

Pin grading varies from maker to maker. Enamel pins are handmade items therefore they are not always “flawless” or “perfect”. Although most pins come close or in great condition some come with imperfections that is why there are different levels of quality.

STANDARD PINS are good quality pins (beautiful) or in other words the highest quality that this store offers.
Free of major imperfections.
- Tiny scratches or specks on enamel/plating when seen in certain lighting and angles.
- Small specks of other glitter on the pin (on glitter pins)
- Minor imperfection like specks on Plating (front or back)
- Minor uneven fills of color and enamel in a small area
- Minor polishing unevenness seen in certain lighting and angles.

B Grade Pins can have small flaw(s) visible when inspected closely, they are still beautiful.
- Stain or scratch on metal surface upon certain lighting and angles.
- More noticeable uneven fills of color enamel (paint)
- Glitter color uneven (on glitter pins)
- Un smooth/even polishing
- Slightly misaligned screen printing
- Oxidization

C Grade Pins have more noticeable/obvious flaws.
- Yellowing of glitter pins
- Plating unevenness, scratches
- Deeper unfilled color enamel
- Slightly misaligned screen printing
- Oxidization

The flaws listed are just some examples it does not mean that the pin will contain ALL the flaws listed per section.
I make sure to grade the pins carefully and as fair as possible :)
